Here are some great tips to passing the CISSP exam in eight (oversimplified) steps. Understand that this is not an easy process and will require a lot of effort on your part. This is not to discourage you – this is simply to reiterate the fact that your success depends 100% on your efforts. This is why we recommend foregoing your social life and personal activities for 4 – 6 months and dedicating yourself to studying, understanding, and having the ability to answer the test questions. Studying for the CISSP should very much be a part of your social, aka “extracurricular” activities. Try to make the experience positive and fun, because then it won’t seem like you’re missing out on anything. Your friends and family should be supportive and understanding of your efforts.
Obviously once you are in a comfortable and diligent study habit/pattern, you may want to re-introduce some social elements into your life. After all, forgoing everything might be a bit extreme, but please understand that there is no such thing as over-preparation for this exam. IT IS HARD!!!
We wish you the best of luck in your studies. More practice exams on the way!
